Agreement to These Terms

By creating an account or using Taylor Resumé, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Taylor Resumé Does

Taylor Resumé is a web-based tool that helps you tailor your resume to a specific job description. You provide your resume and a job description. We send both, along with a prompt we write, to an AI language model (Claude, made by Anthropic). The AI returns a revised version of your resume shaped to the job you are targeting.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password. You are responsible for any activity that happens under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to use this service.

How We Use Your Data and Your Acknowledgment

When you use Taylor Resumé, your resume and job description are sent to Anthropic's API so Claude can process them. Your resume may contain personal information such as your name, contact details, and work history.

By using this service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your resume content and job description will be transmitted to Anthropic for processing.
  • This transmission is necessary for the service to work.
  • Taylor Resumé does not sell your information or share it for any purpose outside of providing this service.

Your Content

You own your resume and any content you submit. By using the service, you give us the limited right to process and transmit that content as described above, solely to provide the service to you.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to submit any content you upload.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Submit content that belongs to someone else without permission
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell the service
  • Use the service to generate misleading or fraudulent resume content

No Guarantee of Results

Taylor Resumé helps tailor your resume, but we cannot guarantee that a tailored resume will result in interviews, job offers, or any particular outcome. The quality of results depends on the content you provide and other factors outside our control.

The service is provided as-is. We do not warrant that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated suggestions will always be accurate or appropriate. You should review any AI-generated content before using it.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Taylor Resumé is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the app. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles.
