What This Policy Covers

This policy explains what information Taylor Resumé collects when you use the service and what we do with it. The short version: we use your information only to tailor your resume. We do not sell it. We do not share it for any other purpose.

What We Collect

When you create an account and use Taylor Resumé, we collect:

  • Your name and email address, used to create and manage your account.
  • Your resume, which you upload or paste into the service. Your resume may include personal information like your name, address, phone number, work history, and education.
  • The job description you provide, so we can tailor your resume to it.

How We Use Your Information

When you submit a resume and a job description, we send both to an AI language model (Claude, made by Anthropic) along with a prompt we write. That prompt instructs the AI to reshape your resume to better match the job you are applying for. The tailored resume is then returned to you.

That is the only reason your resume content leaves our system. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else.

Anthropic and Claude

The AI that powers Taylor Resumé is Claude, built by Anthropic. Your resume and job description are sent to Anthropic's API to process your request. Anthropic receives that content as part of delivering the service.

Data Storage

Your account and resume content are stored securely as long as your account is active. We use encrypted connections and limit who on our team can access your data.

If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information and resume content within 30 days.

Your Rights

You can request to view, correct, or delete the data we have on file for you at any time. Just email us at hello@taylorresume.com.

Children

This service is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will let you know by email or through a notice in the app before the changes go into effect.
